Open House/ Good Samaritan Wellness Center/ Kearney

KEARNEY—In celebration of their 25 year anniversary, CHI Health Good Samaritan Wellness Center is hosting a community open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. During the public event, located at 10 E. 31st St., Medical Building-Lower Level, refreshments will be served.

Those attending the open house are invited to take part in several free opportunities, including:

· staff-led tours of the facility including the Turttle Pool

· chair massages (first come-first served)

· instructor-led Pilates Reformer Demonstration Classes

· an instructor-led Meditation Class, 4:30-5 pm

· and prize drawings for personal training sessions, a 60-minute massage and a free membership

During the month of March, the Wellness Center will be waiving enrollment fees for all new members. New members registering during the open house will receive free membership until April 1, 2024. Anyone booking a massage during the open house will also receive a discount.

When the 29,000-square-foot medical health facility opened on March 25, 1999, it was one of the most advanced fitness centers in the country featuring one of only three Turttle® Pools in the world. Today, the center features 59 pieces of cardiovascular/strength training equipment, free weights, instructor-led fitness, aquatic and Pilates Reformer classes, personal trainers, locker rooms with dry heat saunas and towel service. The Turttle® Pool provides a soothing workout in its currented lap ring and arthritis relief in the inner heated waters. The Wellness Center also offers certified massage therapy onsite.
