Grape Pruning 101 Workshop/Roca, Nebraska

NEWS FLASH: GRAPE PRUNING 101 WORKSHOP SATURDAY MARCH 30, 2024 AT CAPITOL VIEW WINERY

Grape pruning for beginners (“Grape Pruning 101”) will be held beginning at 9:00 am on March 30 at Capitol View Winery, 2361 Wittstruck Road, Roca, Nebraska.  Although this half-day workshop is targeting grape growers that are relatively new to pruning, there will be time for experienced pruners to learn a few new tricks also (“Pruning 102”?).  Bring your own hand pruners (“secateurs”, as the British would say J).  Pruning equipment, including battery-powered pruners, will be demonstrated, and adaptation to trellis systems will also be discussed.  There will be plenty of time for questions and hands-on experiences.
