A 20-year-old Scottsbluff man has been arrested after leading police on a high speed chase Saturday night.
Brandon Bowles is charged with Felony Operating a Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest and Willful Reckless Driving. Court documents say Bowles was speeding on Highway 26, and after police tried to initiate a traffic stop, Bowles turned off his vehicle’s lights and fled into a neighborhood in northeast Scottsbluff.
The arresting officer eventually found the car parked in an alleyway, and located Bowles and a female walking a block away from the pursuit vehicle.
Bond was set at $25,000 and a March 29th preliminary hearing date has been set.
