DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The Nebraska Rural Radio Association is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to help lead our six stations in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

With four 100,000-watt FMs (contemporary country, classic country, classic rock, and Hot AC/CHR), two AM stations (full-service news/ag and conservative news/talk), and an online/cable TV channel, this job has something for everyone.

In the heart of the Nebraska panhandle, Scottsbluff serves as the regional retail hub for the area and offers small-town living at its best. There is no traffic, no long commutes, and scenery for miles. You will love the quiet pace of life, and are just a short couple of hours away from the front-range of Colorado and the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The Nebraska Rural Radio Association is a farmer-owned group, which means there are no corporate mandates and no monthly spreadsheets to manage. You will enjoy some of the best benefits available in radio, including a rare defined-benefit pension plan. Yes, you read that correctly.

You will get to bring your talent to the airwaves, while you enjoy a friendly, welcoming community and talented leadership team. If you’ve been dreaming of working for and with a team of radio professionals in a laid-back, low-stress environment, then this is the opportunity for you.

Send your resume to Market Manager Bill Boyer at bboyer@ruralradio.com. While we are not accepting phone calls, we will reply to everyone who expresses interest in our opening.
