Here’s a Friday combo update for high school sports with District Track and Field for area Class C teams at Bayard from Thursday plus the results from the Boys Golf Invite at Ogallala.
C-9 Track & Field
Dominant showing from Chase County. Their boys rolled up 229 points to win the district title with second place Hershey way back with 74 points. Mitchell and Morrill finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
On the girls side Chase County scored 167 points to win easily over Perkins County with 73 points. Morrill was third followed by Bayard and Bridgeport.
