A 20-year-old Scottsbluff man has been arrested for having alleged sexual relations with his 14-year-old girlfriend.
Duane Bauer was arrested Tuesday afternoon following an investigation by the Gering Police Department. During interviews, Bauer admitted to engaging in sexual acts with the girl but denied having sex with the teen.
He was arrested on charges of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Minor and Third Degree Assault. Bauer made his first appearance Wednesday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court.
