An August trial date has been set for the Lisco woman who serves as Garden County Sheriff and was arrested last month following an alleged domestic assault.
44-year-old Michelle Quinn today (Monday) entered a plea of not guilty in Keith County Court on one count of Third Degree Domestic Assault causing intentional bodily injury to an intimate partner.
Quinn was taken into custody April 13 by Nebraska State Troopers after Garden County Deputies had stopped her vehicle as part of the investigation into an assault reported in Keith County.
Bond in the case was modified to allow Quinn and her partner to take part in supervised, joint counseling.
A hearing for a final plea on the Class One misdemeanor charge is set for July 22 before trial is scheduled to start Aug. 5.
