Jerrod Niemann announced as Scotts Bluff County Fair concert headliner

The Scotts Bluff County Ag Society would like to welcome singer-songwriter Jerrod Niemann to the 2024 Scotts Bluff County Fair County Fair concert. Niemann will perform Friday August 2nd.

Manager Lanna Hubbard said she was pleased to finalize this years concert after having a couple acts fall through and was able to get Niemann secured, and is excited to welcome the entertainer, Hubbard says she has heard that his performances are really fun!

Hubbard says to stay tuned for updated ticket sales information to be release soon. The fairs dates will run Saturday July 27th through August 3rd with many great events, and youth activities.

Born and raised in Kansas, Niemann cut his teeth on country and popular music while still a small child. He spent the majority of his college years in Texas performing in local clubs. Having written songs since the age of eight, he majored in Performance Art Technology at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

After signing a developmental deal with Mercury Records in 2003, he toured over half the country with his band “The Saloonitics” and has penned songs for Neal McCoy, Julie Roberts, Jamey Johnson, John Anderson, and Garth Brooks.

He scored his first #1 hit song with Garth Brooks’ “Good Ride Cowboy,” a tribute to Chris LeDoux that Niemann wrote. Other stars who have recorded songs written by Niemann include Blake Shelton, Colbie Caillat, Lee Brice, and Diamond Rio.

Niemann has released seven studio albums and fourteen singles. His most commercially successful release through Arista Nashville was Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, which reached number one on Top Country Albums and produced the single “Lover, Lover”, a number one single on Hot Country Songs. Niemann also reached number one on the chart with “Drink to That All Night”.
