The Gering man apprehended in a rural Scotts Bluff County field after crashing a stolen pickup has been arraigned on the charges in district court.

In late March, Law enforcement spotted 25-year-old Cresencio Castillo in the vehicle in question, who led authorities on a pursuit before crashing the pickup near the intersection of County Roads 31 and G.

On Thursday, Castillo was arraigned on charges, including possession of stolen property, flight to avoid arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and willful reckless driving. A pre trial date has been set for August 5th.
