Gideon Daniel Labeau Lockwood Blanco “Gidders”
July 14, 2022 - March 16, 2024

Gideon Daniel Labeau Lockwood Blanco, affectionately known as Gidders, was a beautiful gift that came into this world on July 14, 2022, to his loving parents, Kaci Lockwood and Adric Blanco.

Gidders was a typical, lively little boy who was bubbly, outgoing, vivacious, and funny. He found pleasure in simple play, such as climbing, jumping, and playing chase with his siblings. He and his siblings enjoyed the gentle art of sibling camaraderie. Gidders also enjoyed visits with his buddies, Scottie and Noah. It was widely known that Gideon had a love for music, whether it was playing his toy instruments (he loved his DJ turntable), dancing, or his response when listening to all kinds of music and songs, even classical music which was introduced to him by his Dada.

His goofy nature and wholehearted love endeared him to so many. His silly smile and mischievous grin were prelude to his joy. Gidders’ hugs and cuddles were the best and could warm the soul and bring a light of comfort and happiness.

On March 16, Gideon left a huge emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His dad always said that Gideon was here to do God’s work and that held truth; because of Kaci and Adric’s selfless love, Gideon became an organ donor. What a gift of hope and happiness to his recipients’ families.

His spirited nature and innocent antics will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his parents, Kaci and Adric, his siblings, Bryson, Quinn and Declan Lockwood, “adopted sissy” Savanah Long, his doting maternal grandparents, Steve and Lori Schwartzkopf, paternal grandparents, Laura Vallejo, Victor and Melanie Blanco, maternal great-grandmother, Ila Randolph, paternal great-grandmother, Guadalupe Vallejo and many family members and friends.

May Gideon rest peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father and in the heavenly embrace of his family members, maternal great-grandparents, Charles Randolph, Willis and Patricia Schwartzkopf, paternal great-grandparents, Pete Vallejo, Antonio and Felistas (Lily) Blanco, uncle, Damien Blanco, brother, Liam Hanson and the many family members who have left before him on their heavenly journey.

Reverence Funeral Parlor has been entrusted with the utmost sensitive arrangements for Gideon’s memorial services. A private service will be held to honor his memory in accordance with the wishes of Gideon’s parents. For those who wish to express sympathy, consider donating in Gideon’s name to Donor Alliance of Colorado, BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), Children’s Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus of Aurora, or Life Unlimited Church.

The family would like to thank the hospital personnel at RWMC and Aurora’s Children’s Hospital for the care Gideon received and to family and friends that have offered support and prayers for the family. A special “thank you” to Uncle Dom and Aunt Bunz.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that he who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Some only dream of angels…We had one in our lives. Our little angel, Gideon, God’s handsome warrior, will always be remembered as a precious gift.

May Gidders’ light shine on.
