SkyWest Airlines scored very well in a recent ranking of the country’s best airlines for 2024.
According to WalletHub, the airline serving Western Nebraska Regional Airport and a number of others across the state is second-best in the U.S., coming in behind Alaska Airlines and ahead of carriers like Delta, United, Frontier and Southwest.
SkyWest also ranked second highest in reliability, coming in behind Delta, which had the lowest overall rate of cancellations, delays, mishandled luggage and denied boardings.
WalletHub looked at 13 different metrics for their comparison involving the nine largest carriers in the country and SkyWest, the only regional carrier included in their analysis.
