Riverside Discovery Center is excited to announce the completion of the new Puma/Mountain Lion exhibit and as it turns out, it was just in time for a new arrival.

RDC now has a 24-week old male puma cub currently in quarantine, and after that’s complete, it will take him a little time to get acclimated to his new exhibit and holding. Please follow us on Facebook as we will provide updates on his progress and let guests know when he can be seen in his newly remodeled exhibit.

The cub was orphaned and deemed non-releasable to the wild by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. After arriving at RDC, he underwent an examination with our veterinarian and received a clean bill of health.

While he completes his 30 day quarantine behind the scenes, staff will keep the public posted on his progress. Welcome to the Riverside Discovery Center, little guy!!
