Broken Bow and Anselmo-Merna compete at Buffalo Bill Track Meet

NORTH PLATTE – The Broken Bow and Anselmo-Merna track and field teams both took part in the Buffalo Bill Track Meet in North Platte on Thursday.

Top performances for Broken Bow included Max Denson finishing first in shot put and second in discus. Coy Wardyn won the pole vault while Eli Coble was second in the long jump. On the track Cruze Safranek was third in the 100 and fourth in the 200.

The girls were led by Klarrisa Dowdy placing second in the 300m hurdles, Maren Chapin was fourth in the 400 and Taylor Schaaf took third in discus.

Anselmo-Merna was led by Caenyn Priest finishing fifth in the 300m hurdles and sixth in the 110m hurdles. Colin Wright was sixth in the high jump.

Shayleigh Coleman was the top girls performer for the Coyotes, taking fourth in the 300m hurdles and eighth in the 100m hurdles.
