THEDFORD – Anselmo-Merna took the team title at the Sandhills/Thedford golf invite on Thursday.
The Coyotes posted a team total of 355 to top the leaderboard by four shots. South Loup and Sandhills Valley tied for second with a total of 359.
Sandhills/Thedford’s lone golfer, Brady Haake, took first on the individual leaderboard with a 74.
Anselmo-Merna placed three golfers in the top ten, as Aaron Bartak’s 78 was good for second, Colin Cooksley placed third with an 82 and Quinten Myers was ninth with an 87.
Sandhills Valley’s Ethan Weems took fourth with an 85 and Braden Powell shot 87 to finish eighth.
For South Loup, Cache Gracey posted an 86 to place sixth while Joey Sallach was right behind him with an 87.
Mullen’s Jacob Walker placed fifth with an 86. Burwell posted a team score of 367, led by Landon Critel and Kason Larson both shooting 89. The Broken Bow JV totaled 385 with a 90 for Gavin Carrizales as their lowest score.
