October 14th, 2021 | Jeff Axtell

The Wisner-Pilger Football Team lost 60-34 at home to Clarkson/Leigh Friday night.

Tough loss for the Gators, but all of their losses this year have come to great teams.

Wisner-Pilger (3-4) rounds out the regular season at Madison (1-6) on Friday.

The Dragons lost 52-6 at Stanton last week.

This should be a win for the Gators, but it is a must win for Wisner-Pilger from a playoff standpoint.

The Gators just have to go out there and play their game and they should be fine.

A win should get Wisner-Pilger in the playoffs although they would be the last team in as of right now.

All the Gators can do is focus on winning this game and let the rest take care of itself.

Wisner-Pilger has to go out there and dominate from start to finish and leave no doubt.

The Gators have to play the way they have in their wins this year.

Wisner-Pilger has to be physical, and must tackle well and hit hard.

The Gators have to dominate the line of scrimmage, and impose their will on Madison.

Wisner-Pilger has to run the ball well and shut the Dragons down, and wear Madison down in the process.

The Gators have to go out there and take it to the Dragons, and play a complete four quarter game.
