State Tournament Game Preview:

GACC (13-13) takes on North Platte St. Pat’s (21-3) in the first round of State at 9:00 Thursday Morning from Pinnacle Bank Arena in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull. The Irish won 69-44 over Overton at home in the D1-1 District Final last Monday night. This is GACC’s first State Tournament Appearance since 2017.

Jeff’s Take on the Game:

This is a tough draw for the Bluejays. It’s State though and anything can happen. GACC has done great to get to this point, and I fully expect the Bluejays to go in there and hold their own and compete. I think this game could be close. Upsets happen all the time in the State Tournament, and as cliche as it sounds GACC simply has to believe. The Bluejays have to remain poised and confident at all times, and must go for it when given the opportunity. GACC has to play with no fear in this one and must leave it all out on the floor.
