Dylan Kneifl of Wayne State College was named Monday afternoon the NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week following his performance over the weekend at the Drake Relays. A senior from Pilger and graduate of Wisner-Pilger HS, Kneifl tied his own school record clearing 7 1/4″ to place second in the high jump Friday afternoon at the Drake Relays in Des Moines.
The NCAA provisional mark is now the top jump in the NSIC and is tied for 10th nationally in NCAA Division II.
Wayne State competes on Friday at the South Dakota Tuneup Meet in Vermillion.
