Clarkson/Leigh Volleyball Star Chloe Hanel is headed to Wayne State next year. Hanel says Wayne State got a head start on things in recruiting, and ultimately won her over.
Hanel says she also considered Concordia
Hanel, who also played Basketball and ran Track for the Patriots, says her High School Sports Experience was a very memorable one.
Hanel helped guide the Patriots to a State Runner-Up Volleyball Finish in Class C-2 this past season.
Hanel says Head Coach Becky Schneider demanded excellence, and that will help her moving forward.
Hanel says she will play either Middle or Outside Hitter for the Wildcats.
Hanel adds she likes Volleyball just a little bit more than Basketball, and that’s what ultimately led her to choose the sport for College.
Hanel says playing Basketball and running Track for Clarkson/Leigh has helped prepare her for the big stage.
Hanel says she plans to major in Pre-Pharmacy at Wayne State.
She is the daughter of Mark and Rhonda Hanel.
