Overview:
The North Bend Central Boys Basketball Team expects to be really good again this year. 9th year Head Coach Jon Baehr tells KTIC Sports who all returns for the Tigers this season.
Coach Baehr says the team has a chance to be really dynamic offensively, but defense could be an issue.
The Tigers have been really good in recent years, and I look for that to continue this year.
I think North Bend Central’s defense will get better as the season wears on, and the Tigers will be right there in state contention at the end of the season.
North Bend Central’s offense should win them a lot of games this year, and they should light up and scoreboard night in and night out.
I feel like the Tigers will be a feared team once again this year, especially in the East Husker Conference.
Season Outlook:
North Bend Central’s season gets underway on December 2nd when the Tigers take on Twin River on the road. Coach Baehr previews the contest.
I think the Tigers are going to be one of the top teams in the EHC once again this year.
Coach Baehr says there are some really good teams as always.
North Bend Central is in Sub-District C1-6 with Clarkson/Leigh, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, Columbus Lakeview, and Columbus Scotus.
Coach Baehr says the Shamrocks and Patriots should be tough.
I would agree with Coach Baehr in that it should be a really competitive Sub-District.
It will be really interesting to see what the season brings for the Tigers this year.
