Overview:
The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Girls Basketball Team looks for another big year, but will have to replace 3 starters lost from last year’s State Team.

Longtime Head Coach Jerry Stracke says the offseason went well.
I totally expect the Bluejays to reload and be very good once again this year.
Season Outlook:
GACC figures to be very good once again this year, but the season figures to have its challenges. Coach Stracke tells us more about that. “Lost 5 Seniors off last year’s team – the top two scorers, leading rebounder, and best defensive player. In a tough sub-district with Oakland and Bergan. Hope to become competitive as the season goes along.”
The Bluejays open up the season at Wisner-Pilger on Friday. Coach Stracke says the Gators are solid.
GACC is in Sub-District C2-3 with Oakland-Craig, Fremont Bergan, Omaha Brownell Talbot, and Omaha Christian Academy.
That’s a very tough and loaded Sub-District, which makes the regular season absolutely critical for the Bluejays.
I think GACC will win plenty of games this year, but there are some challenging and tough games on the schedule so it will be interesting to see what happens.
Should be some exciting action and games for the Bluejays this year to say the least.
