Bellevue Baseball announces changes to weekend series
April 24th, 2024 | Bellevue Athletics

BELLEVUE, Neb. — Bellevue University baseball coach Duane Monlux announced today that this weekend’s North Star Athletic Association series against Viterbo University will be played Saturday-Sunday, Apr. 27-28.

Double-header action on both days will begin with a noon first pitch.

While the series was originally slated for Friday-Saturday, the possibility of lingering thunder storms on Friday necessitated the change.

The Bruins (34-11/19-1 NSAA) are ranked No. 15 in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Poll which came out earlier this morning.

Bellevue locked up their fifth-straight NSAA regular season this past weekend with a four-game sweep of Dakota State. The Bruins will be the No. 1 seed in next weekend’s NSAA Tournament, hosted by Dickinson State.
