The Pendragons defeated Sandy Creek 65-31 in the D1-1 District Final at home Friday night. Pender beat the Panthers twice during the regular season.
Jeff’s Take on the Game:
This is an extremely difficult matchup coming in for Bancroft-Rosalie. Pender is an amazing team that has done great things this season. As cliche as it sounds though the Panthers simply have to believe. Bancroft-Rosalie has to walk into the gym expecting to compete and win. The approach has to be the same as it was when the Panthers played Johnson-Brock. Bancroft-Rosalie has shown they can pull the big upset and have fared well at State over the year so the Panthers are definitely a formidable foe and are not new to this stuff.
