The Nebraska FFA Organization continues to grow in members and chapters.
This year, 10 new chapters were chartered in the state to bring the total to 210 chapters with nearly 12,000 Nebraska FFA members.
Nebraska FFA State President Lexi Bodlak said FFA and ag education are helping to shape the labor force of the future by providing students with both soft and technical skills.
“It is a privilege to be in this agricultural community and I really wish that members would take advantage of this opportunity,” Bodlak said. “Only 2% of the nation is able to provide for all of this in this country. If members can just remember to capitalize on where they’re at right now, they’ll be able to connect with a really amazing community and serve others as well.”
Bodlak is originally from the Pender FFA Chapter.
