A holiday tradition at the Riverside Discovery Center kicks off this Friday night in Scottsbluff.
The annual Wild Lights sponsored by Riverstone Bank showcases the zoo in an entirely new light- or in this case- Christmas lights.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy a variety of festive light displays, holiday music, and of course, enjoy hot chocolate.
Zoo Director Anthony Mason says he’s really excited for the public to see new additions this year- including singing trees projected onto the water tower in the bear exhibit. He also says there are new themes in the indoor exhibits as well.
Wild Lights will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, and 30th. Admission cost is $4 for members and $8 for non members.
