Pioneers

After tonight’s game the Pioneers return home to Oregon Trail Park Stadium to play the Dodge City A’s for a three game series. Start times Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be 6:35 pm, 6:35 pm, and 11 am. All those broadcasts will be on KNEB AM.
Legion Baseball
The Gering B&C Steel Juniors were eliminated from the Class B Area 7 Tournament on Sunday with a 11-6 loss to Chadron. Gering fell to Alliance on Friday by the final of 16-0. B&C Steel ends their season with a record of 11-12-1.
So far the Alliance Jr’s have gone 3-0 in the tournament and they’ll play today (Monday) against Chadron at 4 pm MT.
At the Senior level it was Gering PVC winning on Sunday over Brush (CO) 9-2. Mason Gaudreault homered and had three extra base hits and drove in three runs as Gering finished with 18 hits in the game. Seven players had multi-hit games and Barron Williams and Bo Gable joined Gaudreault with multi-RBI performances. Gering PVC will host the B-7 Area Tournament next weekend.
The WESTCO Zephyrs will play their final regular season game on Tuesday at Bear Creek, Colorado before hosting the A-7 Area Tournament this weekend at Cleveland Field. That tournament will get underway on Friday.
The WESTCO Express Jr’s will head to Hastings for the A-7 Jr’s Tourney this weekend.
