United Way of Western Nebraska hosted their annual Campaign Kickoff luncheon Wednesday,
announcing an ambitious fundraising goal of $385,000 for the 2024-2025 campaign.
Executive Karen Benzel said the impact of the money raised is critical to the agencies that receive the funds.
United Way board president Becca Pierce the agency only continues to be successful because of the community.
She says whether it’s buying ducks, or are making pacesetter business donations, people come together as a true community to support the United Way mission.
