EducationQuest Foundation Tuesday announced that 27 Nebraska high schools have been awarded $840,000 in College Access Grant funding over the next four years to help develop and enhance programs designed to increase the number of students who go to college.

EducationQuest awards College Access Grants every two years through a competitive application process. Schools are funded for four years, and annual awards range from $2,500 to $20,000, depending on school enrollment.

Since the program began in 2006, EducationQuest has awarded more than $7 million in grants to 206 schools.

Vice President of Grants and Scholarships Eric Drumheller said, “We’re excited to collaborate with these high schools to inspire students to continue their education after high school. These grants support essential activities that help Nebraska students and families navigate their educational journeys more easily. By emphasizing the value of higher education and fostering strong community partnerships, we aim to ensure long-term success for every student.”
