EDITOR’S NOTE: This story has been updated with details on the defendant’s initial court appearance.

A 19-year-old Terrytown man has been arrested in connection to a shooting death over the weekend.

Anibal Domingo Jr. was booked into the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center Sunday afternoon in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Wilson Coleman III, also of Terrytown.

Domingo Jr. is charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony.

At the time of publication, court records did not include details on the circumstances leading up to the shooting, but the complaint filed in the case claims Domingo intentionally, but without premeditation, caused Coleman’s death this past Saturday.

Domingo Jr. made his initial appearance on the charges Monday afternoon with County Court Judge Kris Mickey, who set his bond at $2.5 million, ten percent, and set a preliminary hearing in the case for Dec. 1.

If convicted on the second degree murder charge, Domingo would face a prison term of twenty years to life in prison.
