Here is the high school basketball sub-districts update with a look at scores plus plenty of schedule changes with the incoming storm.

Girls B-8

  • Sidney 70, Gering 34 – Kayla Westby led Sidney with 14 points as the Lady Raiders had 11 different players score…Mackenzie Todd led Gering in the loss with 12 points. Gering’s season ends with a 6-17 record.
  • Scottsbluff 65, Alliance 34 – This one was tight for a half with Scottsbluff then going from up 26-20 at the break to scoring 20 points in the third quarter and pulling away quickly from mid third quarter on. The trio of Paige Horne (24), Anna Kelley (20), and Payton Burda (17) combined to score 61 of their 65 points in the win
