Alliance Public Schools went into lockdown Wednesday afternoon after authorities received a report of a student with a gun.
Around 1:40 p.m.; Alliance Police and Box Butte County Sheriff Deputies made contact with the juvenile. The student was placed into custody and the weapon was recovered without incident.
