It’s that time of the year again where the Scottsbluff/Gering State Golf Committee puts their best foot forward to host the Boys Class B State Golf Championships with this year’s event taking place at Scotts Bluff Country Club.
It’s a two day tournament with the first tee times this morning at 9 am MT.
Scottsbluff is coming off a third place district finish and back on their home course looking to make some noise, hoping to be in that top five range or better when things wrap up on Wednesday. Tommy Dredla, Blake Grasmick, Isaiah Jones, Wisley Mooc, and Noah Shaddick making up the Bearcats roster.
Gering’s lone entrant is Jack Maser, who qualified for state with a 5th place finish last week at the district meet in Hastings.

Class C at Columbus
UPDATE: Class C has canceled today’s first round and they’ll now a one day, 18 hole championship on Wednesday!
Weather has pushed back the start time for today’s opening round to 1 pm CT with a shotgun start.
Chadron qualified their team through with a top three finish at districts plus Mitchell’s Cael Peters once again among the favorites after finishing third at districts last week.

Class D at North Platte
There will also be a delayed start at North Platte for the Class D Tournament now being pushed back to a 11 am CT first tee shot.
Kyler Lusche of Kimball and Dax Powell of Hemingford coming off first and second place finishes at districts while the Hemingford team got through with a district title.
Crawford and Garden County also with some individual kids competing over the next two days.
