HASTINGS- The Scottsbluff Bearcats outscored the Hastings Tigers, 35-0, in the second half to pick up the Bearcat’s sixth win of the season.
Scottsbluff’s Nate Kelley had 102 yards rushing and two touchdowns and added 108 yards passing with two more touchdowns. Desmonde Smith had 207 rush yards and two touchdowns of his own. Finally, Braxton Burford had 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns to round out the Bearcat’s scoring total.
Scottsbluff improves to 6-1 on the season and will host McCook Friday at Bearcat stadium at 7 p.m.
