It took several years for a vision to become a reality, but last week Essential Fuels owner Eric Reichert opened his second location on the corner of 27th Street and Avenue I in Scottsbluff.
His first fueling station is located on the eastern edge of town, and he says he chose this location for his second store due to it being one of the busiest intersections in town.
He tells KNEB News he had anticipated the new gas station and convenience store to open much earlier, but supply chain issues pushed back construction timelines.
He says between the convenience store and the kitchen staff, upwards of 30 new full time positions will be created at his new location.
Essential Fuels is open 24 hours a day, and inside is a full service convenience store that offers hot breakfast and lunch options.
