Authorities say the driver of a Dodge pickup involved in a fatal rear-end collision in southern Gering earlier this month has died.
Scotts Bluff County Attorney Dave Eubanks confirmed to KNEB News 44-year-old Gideon Brunner passed away Tuesday afternoon without regaining consciousness.
Brunner was ejected from the Ram pickup he was driving when it rear-ended a Ford Ranger on Kimball Avenue near 10th Street on Aug 12.
The collision resulted in the death of 18-year-old JT Jackson, a 2024 graduate of Gering High School.
