Scottsbluff Woman Gets Jail After Failing to Appear for Sentencing

A Scottsbluff woman caught trying to steal a car from a grocery store parking lot last spring has been sentenced.

32-year-old Jennifer Radomski told officers she had gotten the car as part of a protective custody deal, and further investigation revealed the car actually belonged to an employee at the store and didn’t know Radomski.

She pleaded no contest to a charge of Attempted Theft by Taking ($1,500- $5,000), and was sentenced to 60 days in jail by District Judge Andrea Miller and received 15 days credit for time already served.

Radomski had failed to appear for her initial sentencing, but her attorney said she had believed it to be five days later that the actual date.
