Scottsbluff Comp Plan Update Town Halls set to begin Oct. 14

Residents and business owners in Scottsbluff are encouraged to attend one or all of the scheduled Town Hall Meetings during the week of October 14th.

The Town Hall Meeting on October 14, will be at 6:30 pm at Roosevelt Elementary and will be predominately meant for the Spanish speaking community. The Town Hall Meetings on October 15th and 16th will be held at the Scottsbluff Public Library starting at 6:00 pm.

The purpose of the Town Hall Meetings is to collect feedback from the public on positives as well as the needs of the community. All of the input will be used in the development of the new Comprehensive Plan for the city of Scottsbluff. Representatives of the consulting team will be present to conduct the meetings and answer questions.

Also during the week of October 14th, the consulting team for the new Comprehensive Plan will be rolling out the community survey via the project website for the digital version and with hard copies available at City Hall and the Library. All digital engagement tools are accessible via the website at https://tinyurl.com/scottsbluffcompplan. The survey is available in both English and Spanish.

Other digital engagement tools on the website include the engagement tools MindMixer and Crowdsource mapping. Instructions for both of these tools are available online.

The comprehensive plan team will be available after the meetings for a short period to answer questions about the process on an individual basis.
