This week for the Boys State Basketball Tournament will be just like last week at the Girls State Tournament for us in terms of Rural Radio Network-Scottsbluff coverage as we’ll have broadcasts for the Scottsbluff Bearcats and Bridgeport Bulldogs.
No. 8 seed Bridgeport will play in the opening time slot of the tournament opening up in the C2 bracket against top seed Amherst tomorrow morning at 8 am MT. We’ll have the broadcast on KMOR 93.3 FM & KMORfm.com starting with the pregame show at 7:45 in the morning.
If Bridgeport can find a way to win that opener against Amherst they’ll be guaranteed to play three games with their C2 semifinal on Friday.
In Class B the Scottsbluff Bearcats are back in Lincoln for the 13th time in the last 16 years. Scottsbluff goes in as the No. 3 seed and they get a round one game against Omaha Roncalli on Thursday night in the late game at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
We’ll have the Scottsbluff vs. Roncalli game on Thursday night on 107.3 The Trail & KHYYfm.com starting with pregame coverage at 6:30 pm MT with opening tip set for 6:45 pm.
If Scottsbluff can pull off the round one win they’ll face the winner of the Norris vs. Bennington game in a Friday semifinal.
