We had two softball broadcasts last night on the RRN-Scottsbluff as Gering won at home over Chadron 14-2 in three innings while Scottsbluff won in four innings at home over Alliance 13-2.
For the Bearcats, they’re now 9-2, and they got a winning performance in the circle from Hannah Schneider and at the plate Schneider and her sister, Hallie combined to drive in seven runs. Adryana Rodriguez finished 3-3 with three runs scored.
Over at Dome Rock Diamonds it was all Bulldogs as they needed just three innings to dispatch the Cardinals. Gabby Moreno, Jacelyn Brown, and Danae Savala at the top of the Gering order combined for eight of the teams 11 hits in the game and Rylee Luce homered. Libby Baum got the win in the circle as Gering improved to 5-6.
All four teams will play at Alliance this weekend at the Western Conference Tournament.
