The 137th Scotts Bluff County Fair kicked off Saturday with a parade in downtown Mitchell.

There’s lots for folks to see and do at this year’s fair, including 4H showings, FFA chore time relay on Tuesday night, the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull on Wednesday, Arena Cross on Thursday, and the Jerrod Niemann concert on Friday.

Fair Manager Lana Hubbard says they tried to keep ticket prices affordable to allow the whole family to attend the concert.

“Our ticket price will be $25 for early, and then at the gate they’ll be $30,” says Hubbard. “We’re excited to have him. He’s got some great hits and I think he’ll fit fit in real well to the fair week.”

The finale for this year’s grandstands events will be Saturday night with the 41st running of the Rubber Check Race.
