A thief from rural Mitchell has been sentenced to prison. 39-year-old old Robert Larsen was arrested last year on two separate occasions, once for breaking into a local storage unit, and also for stealing a trailer that belonged to a business.
He ultimately pleaded no contest to charges including Theft By Unlawful Taking and 1st Degree Criminal Trespass.
District Judge Leo Dobrovolny sentenced Larsen to a total of 24 months in prison on his convictions spanning both cases, and he received credit for 73 days he had already served.
