Banner County residents are invited to attend a town hall meeting this evening regarding the potential for solar energy projects in their county.
According to a release from the County Board, Situla Energy Project will be taking part in the meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Banner County School.
Few other details were immediately available, but the release says Situla officials will be discussing possible projects.
Situla’s initial attempt for approval for a utility-scale project in southwestern Scotts Bluff County failed when a majority of commissioners voted against the company’s conditional use permit application.
