A Pennsylvania man caught with more than 300 pounds of marijuana last January during a Kimball County traffic stop has been sentenced.
21-year-old Anthony George was facing up to 20 years in prison after facing a charge of Distribution of a controlled substance- but in February he pleaded no contest to a charge of Attempted Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Attempted Drug Tax Stamp Violation.
Last week in District Court, Judge Derek Weimer sentenced George to 36 months of probation and a $1,600 fine.
