A 20-year-old Terrytown man charged in connection to a violent assault in Scottsbluff last September was sentenced to prison Friday.

Anibal Domingo was arrested in February on a Class 2 Felony 1st Degree Assault charge. Court documents say Domingo and others teamed up and assaulted a Scottsbluff man in a parking lot. The victim suffered a collapsed lung, head injury and hematomas and was hospitalized for three days.

District Court Judge Leo Dobrovolny sentenced Domingo to 3 to 5 years in prison, with 320 days credit for time already served.

His sister, 18-year-old Jessenia Domingo, is also facing the same Class 2 Felony assault charge and will back in court later this month for her pretrial hearing.
