A pastor from a Mitchell church accused of embezzling more than $12,000 from United Methodist Church is expected to be back in Scotts Bluff County District Court tomorrow for his pretrial hearing.
43-year-old Joseph Schumacher Jr. was arrested in November after an investigation showed numerous unauthorized ATM withdrawals from the Mitchell Methodist Church account.
He has pleaded not guilty to three counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking.
