USDA: Nebraska milk production down from 2023

Milk production in Nebraska during the April-June 2024 quarter totaled 318 million pounds. According to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, that's down 8% from the same quarter last year. The average number of milk cows was 51,000 head.
