October 2nd, 2024 | Bryce Doeschot

In recognition of the contributions made by agricultural educators, Nationwide and the Nebraska FFA Foundation are now accepting nominations for the 2024-2025 Ag Educator of the Year.

The Golden Owl Award® honors outstanding agricultural teachers. For the 2022-2023 cycle, Nationwide and its state partners recognized 64 educators as finalists, with nine being named Ag Educator of the Year in their respective states.

A selection committee will review nominations and name six Nebraska finalists, who will receive a plaque and $500. One finalist will be named Ag Educator of the Year and awarded the Golden Owl Award and an additional $3,000.

In conjunction with the award, Nationwide will donate $5,000 to each participating state, including the Nebraska FFA Foundation, to support students, teachers, and advisors.
