There’s some new changes for the board of directors at the Riverside Discovery Center.
During last week’s Scottsbluff City Council meeting, liaison Matt Salomon gave an update on a changing of the guard for leadership.
He said that past president Andy Hayward stepped down as board president, but will remain on as an active board member. In a correlating move, Tiffany Schank has taken the reins as RDC Board President, while Mark Haug steps into the role as Treasurer.
He also said that a contract has been offered to one of the finalists for the position of Executive Director at the zoo, stemming from the abrupt resignation of Desiree Drane Davison back in May.
