Nebraska Statewide Primary Ballot Certified by Secretary of State
March 21st, 2024 | KNEB Staff

Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen has certified the statewide ballot for the May 14th primary election.

Nebraska Revised Statutes says the Secretary must certify candidates, offices and issues to be placed on the statewide ballot at least 50 days before the primary election.

Evnen says they are certifying the entire ballot ahead of schedule. He says this allows county election offices to finalize their own preparations.

The full list of candidates for the primary can be viewed on the Secretary of State’s website.

And with less than two months until the statewide primary election, Evnen reminds voters to prepare for the new voter ID law.
Nebraska voters will need to present a photo ID before they vote in the primary election.
