LINCOLN, Neb- All layers in Nebraska during December 2021 totaled 8.22 million, up from 7.93 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Nebraska egg production during December totaled 205 million eggs, up from 203 million in 2020.
December egg production per 100 layers was 2,487 eggs, compared to 2,562 eggs in 2020.
