National FFA Convention: 22 candidates advance in officer selection process
Thirty-seven FFA members have been chosen to compete for national office at the 97th National FFA Convention and Expo

During the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo, 22 candidates have moved forward in the selection process for the 2024-25 National FFA Officer Team.

Each year, state FFA associations can submit one candidate for national office. These individuals undergo a rigorous interview process led by the National FFA Officer Nominating Committee, which is comprised of students. The committee interviews and selects the officers at the convention.

The process to become a national officer is highly competitive, requiring candidates to demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a deep understanding of the role. Out of an initial pool of 37 applicants, 22 have advanced past Phase 1 of the selection process.
